What Would Your Friends Say About You? ♥
December 16, 2009

Reflect upon this for a moment!

Would they describe you as the life of the party? Or a supreme introvert, with a heart of gold? Would they applaud your personal style, or admire your ability to flaunt your best assets? What would they list as your most positive attributes, and if they were asked to describe your least magnificent traits, what would they divulge? Are you slightly guilty of harbouring self-doubt, or are you a notorious heartbreaker? Do they secretly wish that you would follow your dream career, instead of lamenting over your current position? Do they yearn for you to make your own happiness a priority, instead of eternally trying to appease your family? What would they say? And more importantly.. is there some merit in what they're saying? Would you like to change their perception of you?

Personally, a behaviour of my own that I'm certainly concentrating on amending is improving the communication in my relationships - I am shockingly hopeless when it comes to returning calls and text messages from my friends, and it makes me feel terrible! It's an unintentional habit, and something that I believe is the result of usually trying to accomplish several activities at the same time - typically, I'll be in the middle of something, and will hear my phone go off. I'll scramble to find it, and once I discover that I've received a text message/missed call, will think ''awww.. how cute! I'll call them back in a moment, once I've finished this project!'' Of course, a moment turns into minutes, which will sometimes turn into hours, and which will usually end in ''CORRINE! Are you still alive?!'' a day later. GULP. Without question, it's time to kick this habit to the kurb!

What would your friends say about you? Is there a characteristic that you'd like to augment?

xoxo
