Indeed it is!
Presenting, my favourite things from the week that was!
x Feeling Festive (And Decorating My Christmas Tree!) - Yes, TRULY! The kind of (weirdo?!) person that lovingly assembles their Christmas tree in November and adorns their apartment with all sorts of festive paraphernalia (tea towels! Figurines! Season-appropriate door handles!) I am! Now, it's not exactly because my plans are grand, because really, my Christmas rarely involves anything more than a simple barbecue with family and friends, but who can resist the opportunity to purchase shimmering, glitter-encrusted turquoise and cobalt black baubles for their home?!
Not me!
x Highly Overdue Catch-ups - You know, the kind where approximately 1,765646567 different events and life developments have occurred since you last saw the person in question? Yes! I'm catching up with two of my best friends who I haven't seen for - gasp - a month tonight, and I can't wait!
x Sweet Afternoon Surprises - Sometimes I forget how well my boyfriend knows me. After a long, busy week, what does he bring home as a sweet Friday treat? Why, a multi-layered, rainbow-coloured, Chocolate Freddo-filled ICE-CREAM CAKE!
It was DELICIOUS, and the fact that he remembered that I'd been hankering to try it for years was even sweeter!
x Other Little Things - Day trips to Ikea (and finding a new white dining table for our living room, ooh!); listening to Hall & Oates; devouring old episodes of Law & Order; multiple silly e-mails to and from my sister; homemade falafel kebabs complete with tabouli, tzatziki, hommous and sweet chili sauce; continually stumbling across more excellent blogs to read(and fun bloggers to meet!); copywriting enquiries; delightful feedback; glittery eyeliner; making dinner plans; meeting new people; and Christmas parties!
