Ding, ding!
Did you hear that?! That's the sound of the second Style Challenge entering the sartorial ring, ding, ding, DING!
And joining it today is the following question: if you walked into a hairdressing salon and gave the hairdresser complete free reign over your mop, waiving away ANY sort of control, how would you emerge? With purple streaks? A crew cut? The very best haircut of your LIFE? What?
Against all ''um, Corrine?! I think this is kind of nuts'' odds, I decided to find out!

And gosh, would you look at that. I lost half my hair along the way! And collected a FRINGE!

There's not a mullet in sight!
To be honest though, I think I was slightly disappointed. Not so much about the failed acquisition of a mullet, no, but probably because I had secretly hoped that the hairdresser would drastically announce that I would look resplendent with a green mohawk and yellow highlights, and would immediately scold me for not implementing them sooner! But I trust her judgement. After all, the purpose of this exercise was not to create shock value/scare small animals, but rather, to explore the benefits of disposing routines and embracing change: because really, what are we learning when we continously order our usual cut, colour and blow-dry? How do we know that we're not missing out on sampling an amazing pool of nearby colours or styles which would phenomenally, and brilliantly, alter our look?

Sure, 'ol Fringey wasn't the most tremendous rumble on the dramatic scales (I think my hairdresser, although phenomenally sweet, was understandbly nervous: ''so, you don't have ANY preferences?!'' She asked. ''Well, I don't think that I could pull 'bald' off,'' I replied. ''But you know, if you think that it could be a winning option..''), but I like it, and NOT just because it makes me feel mildly mushroom-like! I somehow feel more free. Confident. And as though this is a process that I want to pursue more often!

What would happen if you abandoned your hair as you knew it to put it into the hands of another with a fresh, new and exciting perspective? Would you?
How could you be transformed?!
