So?!

But it's the most glorious day of the WEEK! The sun is out! The weekend's about! Gosh, it almost seems as though it would be illegal not to revel in its arrival!

Presenting, my favourite things from the week that was:

x Your London Recommendations - You came! You saw! You recommended! Thank-you so much for your fabulous suggestions on places to visit in London, I'm infinitely more excited now that I have a notebook full of scrawled locations and addresses rather than a head full of ''%^&$, what was that place called again? Where was that place again?!'' thoughts! And on a nerdier/slightly more embarrassing note..

x .. Creating London-Themed Playlists To Listen To - Oh, I KNOW. On a lame scale this admission would rank extremely high, but on a fun scale it would probably rank even higher: I LOVE creating occasion-specific playlists! (Seriously, every Halloween you will find me listening to a concoction of everything from the Sky Hooks' Horror Movie to The Monster Mash!) So what's on my London list? Frank Sinatra's London By Night! The Smiths' London! Lily Allen's LDN! Warren Zevon's Werevolves Of London! (Just to name a few!) Happy eardrums!

x Those Nights Where You're So Ridiculously Tired That You Fear You May Collapse Into Your Bowl Of Spaghetti.. - ..but STILL choose to embark outdoors because hey, there's excellent adventures to be had and stories to be shared!

I have absolutely no idea what's going on this photograph; but it looks like a superb way to spend a weekend nonetheless!

x Other Little Things - Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zero's Home; lychee-flavoured cocktails and enthusiastic bartenders (''how enthusiastic is that guy?! I love him!'' ''Um, I think he's a little bit TOO enthusiastic, Corrine - okay, scratch that, did you see that?! That guy is a NUT!''); silly conversations about men (oh jeez, what a horrific stereotype I just fulfilled!) and subsequent dares; remembering to water my new plant (!); coconut macaroons; and I can't believe that I'm actually saying this, but THE WARMER WEATHER!
