Which means that it's time for your weekly photocopier appreciation class!
No, no, of course it doesn't. That's on WEDNESDAY.
It means that it's time to celebrate the week that was!
Here's what I'm currently cherishing:
x Spending Six Years With My Boyfriend - I was 15 when I first met my boyfriend. 15! We worked together and sure, I DID always think of him as ''that cool guy who likes the same sort of music as me'' (sad, but true: this seems to be how any relationship that I've had has formed!), never did I suspect that a little less than two years later we would be DATING, and that we would continue to for the next six years! Relationships can be flipping hard work sometimes and perhaps even more so when your partner is seven years older than you (!), but jeez, do I love Tom. He is the smartest, wisest, funniest, kindest, most patient and encouraging person that I've ever known, which is precisely why I'm so excited to celebrate six years of exactly that tomorrow!
x High School Reunion Anticipation - Okay, so with the birth of social media (hello, Facebook and Twitter!) and the subsequent ease with which internet stalking can be completed, the high school reunion probably isn't QUITE as relevant/prominent as it once was. Nobody has to wonder what __ is doing because oh, look! There's their holiday snapshots of them go-carting in Swaziland! And ah, so that's what __ thinks about microscopes - it's all in their status!
Yes, information about other people is so readily available these days, but how likely is that you'll all often meet up with another? If you're anything like everyone in my year/grade at high school, never! Which is why I'm so delighted that one clever girl has taken the initiative to organise a miniature high school reunion for October, five years later; I can't wait!
This is one of my favourite songs!
x Other Little Things - Taking my lunch to Newport Beach and eating it in the sunshine; glitter eyeliners (so very fun! So very sparkly! Such a great - *ba doom chi* eye-dea!); feeling the sand between my toes; big, thumping, smack-you-in-the-face realisations; fresh, new, spring-like scents; sprinkling my business cards across the city; and looking forward to our anniversary dinner at home tomorrow night (saving!), consisting of no less than wholemeal spaghetti served with homemade walnut pesto sauce and garlic bread, argh! So delicious!
Suggestion For The Weekend Ahead -

x Do something unusual.

Happy Friday! How was your week?
xoxo
P.S. Did you know that you can become a fan of pot plants on Facebook? You totally can! But you can also become a fan of Frock & Roll on there, too, and obviously one of these is the superior choice. (*cough* It's the pot plants *cough*)
