And what a beautiful partnership they've formed!
Seriously, I liken it on the excellent and unexpected scales (what, you don't have a spare pair of those lying around?!) to using pesto pasta sauce on a pizza base in replacement of the more traditionally favoured tomato paste for the first time, or wearing lace with leather: surprising, but delightful. Mildly unconventional, but massively BRILLIANT.
Presenting, dramatic television style:
When street signs and music lyrics collide!

Bonus quiz question time! What's sadder: a) the fact that I instantly recognised that these were lyrics to The Spice Girls' song Stop; b) that I tsk-tsked the sign and pointed out that no, the correct lyrics are ''stop right NOW, thank-you very much, I need somebody with a human touch!''; or c) that I actually had to look up the word ''sadder'' to ensure that yes, it is definitely a real-life, commonly-accepted, non made-up word, unlike my penchant for frequently using the word ''funnest'' in a sentence, which is absolutely, 100% not? Diana Ross! The Supremes! A stop sign! Oh, my head is spinning from the genius.

''Keep on, with the force..''

hahahha, I love the hammertime one! I will now have can't touch this stuck in my head for the rest of the night...running man anyone?

This is the funnest :DD
And for the record, I knew that was a Spice Girls song too :) and I noticed the mistake!

I also immediately tsked at the incorrect Spice Girls lyrics. Truly I am a child of the 90s. When I was younger I used to go to Spice Girls birthday parties, and I was always Ginger Spice for obvious reasons. Imagine my dilemma when Geri Halliwell up and left the group!

Hahahah these are too funny!

Julie - Ha, we KNOW our Spice Girls lyrics! And thanks :D
Alex - Aww, I'm sorry, Alex! You can still write about them? (As if you need my permission!) I actually found them by accident, I can't remember what I was searching for on We Heart It a couple of days ago but the Diana Ross one was amongst it and bingo - idea! I'm sorry though, I know how you feel because there have been so many times where I've thought ''darn it, I (why is there no underlining tool here?!) was going to write about that!'' while reading something on the internet before, but hey - if it was something I *really* felt strongly about/wanted to say, I would usually still do it anyway, but just in my own way! ;p
R - I know! :D I loved that about it, too! :D

The Diana Ross one wins for me because of the elongated a in "name". LOL!

Ahhh, damn you Corrine for beating me to it!! Hahaha. I've been collecting photos of street signs like this and was going to compile them all for a post next week :P
The best one is the Spice Girls reference, how good is that?!
I think I should vandalise street signs around my neighbourhood to look like these ones :) xx

I did the same thing with the Spice Girls sign! I first remembered the lyrics and the started singing and shaking my head at the sign XDD.
These are just awesome.
