The 26/02/11 Nuffnang Sydney Blog Meet! ♥

When the delightful Danielle (ooh, alliteration! HI!) of Danimezza announced that she was hosting a 2011 Sydney Blog Meet, I was IMMEDIATELY excited. I mean, the possibility of having a real-life natter with the blogging/photographer extraordinaire herself was thrilling enough, but having the opportunity to mingle with a slew of other excellent Sydney bloggers as well?! F-a-b-u-l-o-u-s!

I LOVE meeting new people, and if they're fellow bloggers, it's an added bonus, because there's a wonderful sense of ''hey! I get what you do!'' unity that can be difficult to find offline. (Seriously, have you ever tried to explain the concept of blogging to a loved one or non-blogger?! It can be impossible!)

Kindly sponsored by Nuffnang (thank-you ENORMOUSLY, Nuffnang!) and set at the delectable Lindt Chocolat Cafe in Darling Harbour, we were treated to an exquisite array of macarons, cakes, chocolates and iced beverages (a reality that still flabbergasts me: being treated for having a giant conversation with amazing women? REALLY?!) as we discussed all things online: Twitter usernames, negative feedback, glorious feedback, and of course, our big, bold blogging plans for the future. (Mine: appear less drunk - especially when I haven't even been consuming any alcohol! - /embarrassing in bloggy photographs in the future!)

It was such a fantastic event!

If you're located in either Brisbane or Melbourne in Australia, I'd strongly suggest hopping along (no pun intended!) to one of Dani's next Nuffnang events (because I'm sure they'll be equally as enjoyable and trust me, the girl is a GEM!), but if you're not, hey!
