(Because it's true, isn't it? Don't the ''luckiest'' people always seem to be the ones who were waiting tables on the side to save up for THAT home deposit? Or rising at 5.00AM to develop ideas for their novel?)

This is so true. Lucky people are usually busy living life and making the most out of everything. They make their own luck

I believe it! Because it means you really want to achieve that *something* - so you're willing to put in the hard yards!

Very inspirational :)

So true Corrine! I've been away from here for so long I'd forgotten how lovely it is to read :) Luckily I'm done with exams so I'll be around a lot more! x

Funnily enough, I'm wearing a wrist cuff that preaches: Courage. Passion. Hard Work :))

Kez makes such a important point, passion is key to achieving your dreams, as is dedication and the ability to ignore nay sayer's.

I think the key is passion. When you know what you really want, you'll work hard to get it (not to mention all the positive karma you put out into the universe)! If you don't have a passion or strong ambition, you'll drift a little and feel lost - perhaps be less productive x
