What's an excellent way to commence a brand new semester of study (and a shiny new course!), fresh from over a month of holidays? Why, develop a tonsillitis-like affliction and miss the entire first week back, of course!* Oh, yes. I'm thinking of constructing a new website: www.10108778waystosucceedatlife.com. Do you think I'm onto a winner?!
Being hit with the flu stick yet again aside, here's what I'm loving this week!
x Forever 21 - To be honest, we've flirted for a while. Upon discovering their website a few months ago (after lamenting their lack of existence in Australia for, well, forever!), there was INSTANT chemistry, but I didn't want to rush into anything, you know? So I resisted. Ignored its wily charms in the form of heavenly dresses, and its irresistible allure in the disguise of pretty accessories... but today? I took the plunge! Our first date consisted of the purchasing of a maxi-dress, a tee, and this little number...
... is there potential for a long-term relationship? Only time will tell, but so far? I'm smitten!
x Driving Lessons - Bound to instill fear in the heart of any Sydney driver is the fact that, almost a year after nabbing my learner driver license, I've been ringing around and organising my very first driving lesson for next week, wheeeeee! I'm kind of terrified, and immensely nervous, but I've finally accepted the reality that life would be roughly 98% more enjoyable if I didn't spend 3 hours a day commuting, or carting luggage of gigantic suitcase proportions on public transport during weekends when I actually want to visit somewhere. Exciting!
x Blitzing My Course - With the aforementioned commuting, coupled with 30 hours of working at night and a lovely little 28-hour week of study , I have to be truthful in the confession that I wasn't expecting mindblowing results for the completion of my last course... a pass, yes, (well, hopefully!), but anything beyond that? No. No, no, no, NO. You can probably understand then why I almost fell over and had to enlist the assistance of a friend to re-read my results to me in the event that I was dreaming when I discovered that I received a credit average in all of my subjects, and distinctions in two! It was a totally surreal moment (I'm still pinching myself), but I am ELATED!
x Other Little Things - Margherita pizza at 4.00AM; The Pet Shop Boys' Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money); sleep-ins; conversing in a language consisting of The Simpsons quotes and tragic song lyrics with my sister; planning a myriad of events; discovering new (old) music; sobbing like an absolute fool at the Masterchef finale, and giggling senselessly!

Good luck with the driving lessons! I hated driving lessons so much. But then, that's probably because it took me so long to get the gist of things.
Yay Forever 21! When I have some more money I want to order some things from there. I only discovered them recently, so I'm still quite excited.

Hii! Congrats on getting the driving lesson. Driving is sooo relaxing (I live in the city with the WORST traffic in the world but I still love it). Don't be nervous, just try to keep the car from hitting on things, think of it as an extension of your body, like when you walk and try to avoid hitting thins, it's the same with the car.
Congrats also on getting good grades for your course!! YAY!
This week has been awesome! I started working on a website for a client (money coming in, finally!), I also got a new camera (!!!!), and I've been learning how to use Flash again (I love re-learning stuff).
