Disclaimer: I know Frock & Roll has been about as lively this week as say, a lone tumbleweed ambling through the desert, and that if someone was to hand out a 'Bad Blogger Of The Month' award, I would come in at LEAST eighth. My apologies!

After developing an extremely unpleasant virus on Monday night, and spending the week snivelling away, holed up in bed, my grand plans for mass posting went completely down the drain... but shall resume next week. Whee!

In the meantime, what do I adore this week? Why, let me tell you!

x Makeshift Reunions - On Saturday night, a group of friends from high school and I came together to celebrate the arrival of our superb friend George (centre, back row, zombie t-shirt!) from America, and apart from it being a ridiculously fun evening, what never ceases to amaze me is that even though we all work in different industrives, live in completely different areas (and, well, some in different countries!) and have changed remarkably in the past four years or so, every time we reunite, it's as though we've never missed a moment apart... we immediately regress back to the goofy, crazy teenagers we once were!

x Photography - Fact: I love taking photos! I never leave the house without my camera buried somewhere in the tremendous kitchen sink that is my handbag, and while this invariably causes people to scream ''paparazzi!'' whenever I start rifling through it, I 100% believe in making the most of every social situation... which to me, involves taking 1,7756634567678 snapshots! Above is a view of the sunset from The Newport Arms restaurant on Sydney's Northern Beaches and oh my, isn't it pretty?

x Holiday Bliss - With little more than a week left of luxurious vacation bliss, I am completely savouring my study-free time before my maniacal schedule sets in once again, and it is DELIGHTFUL.

x Other Little Things - Elton John (always!); feeling domestic (last Sunday, I cooked a feast of spinach and ricotta ravioli and garlic bread, and sure, while this only involved boling water and turning the oven on, I managed to not set the kitchen on fire, which I consider to be a HUGE victory!); a flurry of ideas; change and most importantly, feeling HEALTHY again!

A wise man (that would be one Denis Waitley) once said:

''Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.''

Too true! Now with that, what are YOU grateful for this week?

xoxo
