Oh girlie, fanciful, bewitching looks, I'm your biggest fan! You're currently my ultimate wardrobe fetish, and prize goal in all shopping expeditions. You've capitaved my heart (and wallet!) and I'm utterly, hopelessly and magically immersed in your beauty. Introducing: my favourite trends at the moment, and the exact items I want to incorporate into my daily attire and closet NOW!
x Top Hats, Straw Hats, & Hats, Hats, HATS!
Hats and I have never been able to see eye to eye. So much so that my best friend used to joke that one day, she would pay someone to design a hat for me with the text ''I HATE HATS''. Well! My, how times change. Out of nowhere, I've developed a massive hankering for all things headwear, and want to don one at ALL TIMES. I like to think that it was an organic process, but in all honesty, I suspect it has something to do with how ridiculously superb the beautiful Juliette Maxwell, Kylie Minogue and Nubby Twiglet appear in them:
x Non-Prescription, Clear-Lensed Fashion Glasses
In no way do I want to sound disrespectful to my eyesight, but I've always loved glasses! They effortlessly add a hint of chic and mystery to any ensemble, and now that a variety of non-prescription, clear-rimmed options are appearing in stores and all over the internet, I no longer have to squint in agony when attempting to wear my friends'! Excellent.
x Sparkly, Fluffy & All-Round Frou-Frou Bunny Ears
I blame Gala Darling and Lady Smaggle for my full-blown obsession with bunny ears. It's such an adorable style, though, so I think that I can possibly forgive them! There's something so deliciously unexpected about a pair of gorgeous rabbit ears with a flowy frock that immediately makes me want to run out and purchase 50,000 pairs. (Okay, that's an exaggeration. Maybe just 49,000.)

Clever, tantalizing injections of vivacious colour are assisting with my foray into the world of non-black perfectly! Bold shades, electrifying hues and jaw-dropping palettes? Just colour me smitten.

oh my gosh, i did a double-take and realized that was my picture there at the bottom. haha! yes, i am completely into colour!! i love black, yes i do, but i need some rainbows in my life and if i can't see them in this dreary new york concrete jungle, then i'll create one on myself. so there.

OMG, Hats! I have a crazy/huge collection of hats. I'm sad for the end of Winter, because it means packing away all my cute knitted hats - but happy, because I can bring out my trilbys and such again. Yeah, I'm far too obsessed with hats.
I'm also trying to do the colour thing, as a black obsesser/recovering goth. Good luck!

I love my hat, perfect for when I just want to tuck the curls away and are just plain lazy.
The clear glasses, well, I wear prescriptions and mine have a more geeky feel to them which I love!
I don't think I'll be jumping on the bunny ears bandwagon but they look nice on other girls.
I love wearing loud coloured t-shirts or extremely pink nails or lips. Yesterday, I wore a really pink lipstick to school and the boys were like "Wooow, your lips are super pink, I like!". Unexpected pops of colour are awesome!

Alex - I LOVE them! I tried on a pair in Equip the other day, but the ones they had were mega oversized and just looked too enormous for my face.. so I've resorted to Ebay! :D BTW, I heeeeeear you - I've thought that people would look at me like I was slightly nuts if I wore any of the above things, but then I figured they probably look at the half the women I've listed above with that expression and they're (in my opinion) some of the best dressed women on the planet.. so, to hell with it! :D

I am in love with the clear lens glasses. I bought a pair about this time last year and try to wear them as much as possible.. although sometimes people look at me strange and someone once told me I look like Sarah Palin with them on... Ahaha.
