What IS it about certain folk that enables them to peer at say, a bottle cap, and murmur ‘’I know... I’ll construct an outstanding piece of art with this!’’?
Or spy a button and envisage their next pair of earrings?
Or hunt down a suit case and decide that actually, a rubber ducky would be a much more appropriate bathroom accessory?
You’re right! The latter has absolutely nothing to do with recycling. (At least not this time, anyway.)
But THESE do!
Can you believe what we’re gazing at?! It’s a camera. Devised from recycled COKE CANS. The mind boggles!

And then there's this extraordinary Marilyn Monroe portrait, consisting of - what else?! - beer lids! (Dear creator of this ingenious project: can we please meet and discuss your awesomeness?! Thank-you!)

If this fine and dandy ceiling fixture isn't one of the most outstanding ways to use old paper, then I'm a monkey named Stefano. (And I'm not. Really!)

It's a chair. Assembled from rainbow-hued STRAWS. (I know. What an age we live in!)

Cute as a button (teehee!) and entirely handmade, how quirky are THESE little beauties?
Anyone for tennis?

Economical and unique. Ring-pull handbag, I'm impressed!
And finally, isn't this crafty keyboard necklace just your - waaait for it - type?! (Ba doom chi!)
♥
Have YOU ever conceived something brilliant from a seemingly unusable item? (I haven't, but $50 says that I'll never glance at a bottle cap the same way again!)
xoxo
I love the button earrings! So many cool ideas here

The camera is great. I once got a bag made out of old coke cans. Currently I'm trying to recycle by turning coffee bean sacks into bags.

Julie - PURSES MADE OUT OF CHIP BAGS?! WHAT?! That's amazing! (And ha, I'd *completely* forgotten about Luna Lovegood's necklace! :D )

I once saw purses made out of chips bags. Luna Lovegood (from HP) did the recycling bit as well with her butterbeer cork necklace :DDD (I'm on an HP kick right now T_T).
