It's October already!  Can you believe it?! If you're heavily immersed in the depths of ''2009-is-sneaking-up-on-me!''-itis, why not take a moment to create an ode to the very last week of September by commemorating the past seven days with a list of your most splendid moments? Here we go!

x MacBook Adoration -  So on Tuesday, I made the leap. I bought my first ever laptop, which is a shiny new 13-inch Macbook! I'm so excited! It was my first major purchase (travel aside), and was chosen after consulting just about every person I know about what their prize pick was in terms of computer technology. Although this means that I'll possibly be living off baked beans until the year 3000, and I felt a MASSIVE surge of shopper's guilt afterwards (I very rarely buy anything, and am normally embarrassingly frugal!), I'm so happy with it. It's beautiful, functions effortlessly and kindly provides me with helpful video tutorials upon opening programs that I've never used before... cle-ver!

x The LazyTown & 'Lil Jon Remix Of Cooking By The Book - Oh my. Have you seen or heard this before?! My friend played this for me in his car the other day, and it is one of the most bizarre, funny and insanely catchy songs that I have heard in AGES! You must listen to it! It's a remix of LazyTown's Cooking By The Book and 'Lil Jon and Snoop Dogg's Step Yo Game Up, and it's ingenious!

x My Boyfriend, Tom -  He seems to possess the innate inability to dispose of useless empty packages. He asks where something is before looking for it. He doesn't have the internet, wouldn't know how to send an e-mail if his life depended on it, and I'm sure that he believes that Facebook and Twitter are made-up words that I've devised purely for his confusion. But... he is the BEST. I love him, if not purely for the fact that in spite of his lack of technology prowess, he STILL calls me with ideas for Frock & Roll, and says things such as ''I've got it... T-SHIRTS!''

x Other Little Things - Palmer's Dark Chocolate & Mint Lip Butter; Pantera; falafel and avocado burgers; writing e-mails to my best friend; free movie rentals from my college library; summer barbecues; commencing work experience at Sassi Sam next week (!); the new issue of Shop 'Til You Drop magazine (they deserve props alone for using a lesser-featured celebrity, Chloe Sevigny, on their cover this month!);  curls; new recipes; glitter pens; and long, overdue catch-ups!

xoxo

I have massive MacBook envy, I can't wait til I have the funds to buy one myself! Falafel and avocado burgers sound delish - nothing makes me happier than when you open up an avocado to find that it's absolutely perfect inside. Love 'em!

Whew! I thought I was the only grownup that liked LazyTown. It's been so long since I've had cable, though! I'll have to go hunt it down on the net!

My week has been pretty average, but ive enjoyed spending hours lying on the beach with my ipod and not thinking about anything; sports girl nail polish; looking forward to my ex visiting tomorrow; putting sour cream on everything and eating heaps of random raw veges; cheeky flirting; emailing you and looking forward to your possible arrival in dec!! =D =D ive really enjoyed reading your blog this week, everything day i excitedly check for something new - it never disapoints! ;)

I want a iMac now.

My week has been relatively cruisy - punctuated with a few uni assignments and boring work.

My uni break is almost over. It was a two week break, but it's gone so fast. Yes, 2009 is almost coming to an end. Wow, I'm really getting old.

Yay! I have a Mac too, as you'd probably remember from TAFE. I love it so much. Soon you will be asking Tom if he minds if you guys have an open relationship with the Mac. :D

Your new MacBook looks so pretty! Macs are really nice to look at but I feel uncomfortable using one :S.

My week has been good, very busy with thesis presentation but so far so good n_n.

ScribblesNZ - It's luscious! It's the nicest lip balm that I've tried in a REALLY long time, and the smell is just a delicious added bonus! I'd love to send you one, do you think that it would be a customs disaster if I tried to?
