How To Choose A Pair Of Sunglasses ♥

In a sea of spectacles, it can often be completely discombobulating to find the perfect pair - confusing! Disorientating! Mystifying!

So, how do you know which sunglasses will suit which face types? Why, follow me! (And Angelina, Kelly, Reese and Eva, too!)

1. If You Have A.. Square Face!

Blessed with a square face? How divine! Your mission? To find a pair which softens a strong, angular face. Which styles will do the trick? Trusty aviators, and round or oval shaped styles (think oversized and glamorous Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen-type sunglasses!).

2. If You Have A.. Round Face!

Sporting delicious facial curves? Ooh! Hunt for rectangle-shaped frames - they're super flattering, as they help to create the illusion of a smaller face, and will help to minimise the broadest part of your face, too.

3. If You Have A.. Heart-Shaped Face!

If you have a delectable heart-shaped face like Reese Witherspoon, look for lenses with rounded upper corners, and experiment with bold colours and varieties with lots of pretty detail! Why? Because this will help to soften a more defined chin, and ensure that your peepers are the only emphasis of your face!

4. If You Have A.. Oval-Shaped Face!

Oval-shaped? Too easy - you can pull off just about any style of sunglasses, so go crazy! Play with rectangle, square and wrap-around numbers, sample different sizes, and try various degrees of thickness.

5. If You Have A.. Lizard-Shaped Face!

Well, I think the answer here is pretty obvious.. I mean, COME on! OBVIOUSLY lizards only wear star-shaped, polka-dot goggles!

great post!

I always get confused when people talk about heart shape.. round face.. but this is really concise!

Although as it's currently winter here in england, I'm not quite buying sunglasses yet! Hehe.

I don't know what shape my face is! It's thinish so I don't think I pull of oversized styles too well though! I like those thin movie star-esque looks with studs on the corners. :P

My face is quite narrow by my eyes.. I never used to wear hats or sunglasses. I love them now though sometimes I buy childs size haha! But I do have some very nice prada sunnies i never regret buying despite the price. the have lasted me years they are classic and black and very flattering. i buy lots of cheap fashion sunnies now and often stand on them or lose them
