What’s been quieter than a library this week and slower than a tortoise?

I’m so sorry for the appalling lack of updates and general posts at the moment! But, I must admit, that it IS with exceptionally good reason: you see, as I bang these keys away, I’m currently sitting in London! Yes, London! Oh, the surrealism of it all!
After an enormous flight and a stopover in Dubai (which is undoubtedly one of the warmest - forty degrees! - /most interesting places that I've ever encountered!), my boyfriend and I finally arrived at our hotel in London an hour ago, and after a shower and some shut-eye (it's just after midnight here), can't wait to wake up bright and early and complete some quality sightseeing! We're travelling through Europe for a month and on Monday, we'll be commencing a 19 day tour which visits Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Venice, Rome, Florence, Lucerne and Paris! Tremble! In the meantime though, here are some photographs from the adventure thus far:
Clowing around in airports: it's my specialty!
Flying over Dubai: it's C-R-A-Z-Y, for miles and miles and miles, all you can spy is sand, then all of a sudden, boom! You're smack bang in the middle of a modern day metropolis!

I'm so excited about exploring the city tomorrow! Big Ben, The London Eye and The Tower Of London (just to name a few!), here I come!

So how are you liking London? I'm majorly jealous - I already miss my 'home' although I've just been there last weekend!
Did you pass by the Tower? Did you spy the little church of to the side? That's where I used to work!
