As soon as I stumbled across this stupendous photograph I just KNEW that I had to share it with you.
Meet Laurel. (Or ‘Pearl’, as she’s affectionately known.) She’s 50 years old (did your jaw drop as dramatically as mine did when you read that?!) and daaamn, doesn’t she just ooze vivaciousness?! What a remarkable woman! She’s practically sparkling with vitality and joy!
Adorably adorned with a tiara and sporting a magnificent black frock, Laurel’s living proof that regardless of your age, size or penchant for garden gnomes (you’re right! They have absolutely nothing to do with this topic), you can always be anything that you want to be. ANYTHING! Think you're too old to switch careers, drape yourself in sequins or be the life of the party? You're not! Convinced that travelling through Europe for six months is an activity that could only be completed by someone ten years younger than you? Get out of town! (Literally!)
The world is yours. Never forget that!

Great, positive post! My jaw dropped. I think you get another burst of life at 50, it's like your late 20s, you really don't give a shit what others think of you - you're just out their to enjoy and experience your life!
