What do I love? FRIDAYS! Why do I love them? Well, for a myriad of reasons, actually...
x Planning A European Getaway - Dun dun DA! I was warned that it would happen. Prior to leaving for Europe in December 2008/January of this year, I was assured repeatedly that I would fall hopelessly, insatiably in love with it, and that soon, it would only be a matter of time before I planned my next big escape... and well? At this very second, my boyfriend and I are excitedly looking at tours, flights and accommodation for May/June 2010, all of which centre around visiting Germany, London, Italy, Paris and (hopefully, possibly, maybe!) Amsterdam! Of course, it all means that ''spending money'' will be a figment of my imagination for the next six months, but it's a sacrifice that I'll happily accommodate...

x Re-incorporating My Diary Into My Daily Routine - It's such a simple pleasure, I know, but WHY do I always forget a) how much of an incredibly valuable planning tool they are?; and b) to use them after March of every year?!
x Blowing Bubbles & Bubble Mixture - Awesome, sudsy, mega-fun in a bottle. And if it happens to come in flavours like chocolate-chip, or marshmallow? A total bonus!
x Opting Out Of Father's Day Gift-Buying Madness... - ... and instead deciding to take him to our local Thai restaurant for dinner! I love my father, and I love shopping, but for some reason, the two combined are an absolute NIGHTMARE. I'll swap delicious, hearty cuisine over perusing the sock section at Myer and nervously contemplating whether a bottle of alcohol is a sufficient enough gift ANY year.
x Early Birthday Presents - Awwww. I am appreciative of the people in my life almost to the extent of feeling guilty. Earlier in the week, my boyfriend presented me with a beautiful silver locket, beauty goodies and a triple-compilation CD of Motown hits (he gave them to me almost a week early because he was so excited... an ''aww'' moment in itself!), my friend Sarah delivered perfume and a packet of Darrell Lea's coconut ice to me at work last night, and this morning, I woke up to a package containing a gorgeous necklace and a glittery card from my best friend Caroline! Sometimes, the words ''thankful'', ''grateful'' and ''my goodness, I really feel like a twat for receiving all of this, and like I don't actually deserve it at all!'' aren't enough...

x Other Little Things - Silly photos after running around in the park (the above was taken seconds after my puppy had attempted to French kiss me - argh! And why yes, I DO know which photo I'll be using if I ever feel the temptation to apply for Australia's Next Top Model!); flying into New Zealand on Monday; purchasing my first pair of non-prescription, clear-lensed glasses (!); pesto gnocchi with garlic bread; discussions about real estate; Flickr; listening to my Ipod on shuffle; the arrival of Spring; and as always, the lovely, intelligent and charming people that grace Frock & Roll each week... because without you, my life just wouldn't sparkle quite the same!

How was YOUR week?

*sigh* Europe! Your trip sounds amazing. I went for a brief trip to London and Switzerland two years ago, and I can't wait to travel some more.

Miss Peregrin - Thank-you very much! I am too, but I'm so determined to go!
Ayesha - Awww, thank-you :) Sometimes when I write things I think ''hmm, will this make sense/will people understand my stupid sense of humour/etc./etc.'', so that's really sweet to hear! :)

Oh my, I must do some travelling sometime myself! The only trip I'll be taking this year is visiting my relatives down at Melbourne.
Though, as soon as I finish my degree, I wouldn't mind a one-way ticket to LA.

"I really feel like a twat for receiving all of this, and like I don't actually deserve it at all!"
Hahah that made me laugh out loud =). Great to hear you'll get to travel again! Saving for traveling is always a pain, but always so worth it.

Good luck with saving for Europe! I'm far too much of a spendthrift to be doing that right now.
