Thank Frock It's Friday! ♥

Hello my favourite day of the week, and hello WEEKEND!

What are you loving this week? Here's my adoration-laden tribute to the last seven days of October 2009! (Yes! Can you believe it?! Only eight weeks until the end of the year, gulp!)

x Magical Phone Calls - After a nightmare-ish flooding session and oodles of real estate trials and tribulations, it was beautiful to begin Monday morning with a congratulatory phone call, alerting my boyfriend and I to the fact that we had successfully purchased the apartment that we've been eyeing off for weeks! Rapture! I'm so excited. We move in towards the end of December, and I can't wait - it's a one bedroom unit in my favourite part of Sydney, The Northern Beaches, and although it does need a bit of renovating, I'm so happy with it! It's a two minute walk from the beach, with a separate study, which is going to be turned into a little office (read: blogging abode!) - I'm already dreaming of creating a turquoise feature wall for it! I'll be sure to post a few pictures of it once we've settled in!

x Marcus Tullius Cicero's Wisdom... - "Whatever you do, do it with all of your might". Oh, yes. So true. I'm currently adopting this as my end-of-the-year mantra: doing things half-heartedly is so 2000-and-late!

x Organix Beauty  - Phwoar! Have you ever tried/heard of these products? They're a tad on the more expensive side (their shampoos, conditioners and serums are approximately around the $17 mark here in Australia), but golly, are they worth it. In addition to smelling almost obscenely luscious, they don't test their products on animals, and my hair has never been softer since using them... tick, tick, tick!

x Other Little Things - Walnuts; listening to an assortment of Halloween-themed tunes; dreaming of celebrating Halloween in New York one year; pretty jewels; an abundance of fabulous quotes; remembering that sometimes, the very best way to get exactly what you want is to stop over-thinking and lamenting your lack of it; writing fictional stories (teehee!); and anticipating my best friend's visit!

Now, if it were up to Incubus, they might say ''bat your eyes, girl. Be other-worldy. Count your blessings; seduce a stranger!'' But also? A simple ''go on! Tell us about your week!'' may suffice!
