Except now? It's actually SATURDAY. Whoops. I'm so sorry for the lateness! I've totally been a slave to excessive schedule madness this week, but the good news? It's allllllllllll almost over, and calmer days are on their way!
And on that delicious little note, allow me to present some of the very finest things that I've cherished this week...
x Google Reader - Oh Google Reader, how did I ever manage to live without you?! Actually, don't answer that, because I remember. I'd bookmark half of my favourite blogs to read, and then painstakingly try and commit the rest to memory, which would often result in much trawling through the internet to try and find most of them again later because of course, I couldn't remember what they were... and then I'd wonder where large portions of evenings had gone. Productivity FAIL. Well! Not anymore! With this nifty little system, I can now instantly subscribe to whichever excellent page takes my fancy, and know whenever it's updated, too. Ah. So THAT would be why everyone's been singing its praises for so long...
x Ice-Cream Rendezvous - When the weather is hot, hot, hot (and believe me, in Australia, it has been HOT!), naturally, the only logical course of action is to spend the afternoon eating ice-cream, and to base all social plans around the acquisition of ice-cream! (Seriously, when it's 40 degrees here, what else are you to do?!)
x Wardrobe Design - With only four weeks to go until we move into our new apartment, one of my favourite tasks of late has been planning the building of possibly one of THE most important aspects of any home, the WARDROBE! Our bedroom doesn't currently possess one, which is something that I initially viewed as a minor setback, but have since come to appreciate the infinite possibilities that it presents! (Which is namely the ability to create something from scratch!)
x The Simple Life - Okay, so it's DEFINITELY not a recent television development, but oh, I love it so much! Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton are simultaneously adorable and hilarious in it, and it makes me so happy. I recently bought a stack of the series' DVDs on Ebay, and curling into bed while watching it as I drift off to Slumber Ville is a very, VERY wonderful activity!
x Other Little Things - Trying banana bread flavoured beer (iiiiiiinteresting!); air-conditioning; fresh nectarines; long, lovely e-mails; wide-brimmed hats; second-hand bookstores; knowing that there is only a WEEK left of my current full-time college studies, and that soon I can disembark onto new adventures; and reassuring conversations with my mother.

ok, i admit, im slow on these technological things. never heard of google reader before. oops. should check it out but im awfully resistant to change. i like my catagorized bookmark folders... if it aint broke, why fix it?

I love Google reader! It's currently a mess of information overload, but I AT LEAST have my favorites in the top 2 - 3 categories. Also, I've been doing the same thing ice cream wise. YUM.

Mm icecream! I am in love with sorbet! I can't wait for the weather to warm up here.. Although it rarely gets above low 20's. I'd like to relocate Oz to warmer climates. That wont happen though I'll be in Wellington for a few years yet. I just have to toughen up haha. Summer how I miss thee…
Coco butter is too good. What am I loving this week. Hmm. Leave in conditioner, red nailpolish, being told I look like Katy Perry by three different people (flattery gets you everywhere), vodka, soda and lime, skate boarding and roller skating xo

The main highlight of my week would definately be booking a cruise =D we are so unbelieveably excited!
Secondly, my flatmates young neice and nephews stayed last night. I think its really nice when your not around kids alot to spend sometime hanging out with them. The little one was SO cute x

I love me some Google Reader! For a week or two, I was really bad about ignoring for for 2-3 days in a row and then having to have a massive readfest to catch up. But I can proudly say I've been on top of it for...you know...like a whole week now!
I had a head cold all week, but yesterday & today I've been feeling MUCH better! So glad to be getting over it and back to being productive!
Ooh, and purple black nail polish. I'm currently obsessed with near black colors (I found an Etsy seller who will make me some purple-black lipstick! yesss) and so I was pretty psyched to find the nail polish the other day!

Life without Google Reader, now THAT is one thing I can't imagine. Though it gets overwhelming when you miss some days and suddenly you get the (999+) items not read. Thank God for the mark all as read button.

- Acing thesis, just one more to go YAY!
- Acing my exams
- Taking care of Prince Charming when he was sick, until they picked him up that is
- Talking to the militia about my project
- Taking pictures all over the Military School of Engineers
