Thank Frock It's Friday! ♥

It’s the first December edition of It’s Friday!

Exciting!

From clowning around in the ABC studios (shift your peepers to the right - and below! I'm the one with the long dark hair, black floral dress and goofy smile!) to concluding my full-time studies, it's been one BEHEMOTH of a week. Here, I wrap up the most glorious of moments that it entailed, as well as my current favourite things!

 
x Learning To Drive – It’s something that I’ve resisted for AGES (why?!), but for the past couple of days I’ve been learning how to drive, and it's been so much fun! I can’t believe that I didn’t learn sooner. My excellent friend Nick has been taking me out for a spin, and it's been fantastic! (AND I've managed to successfully avoid crashing into anything. Bo-nus!)

 x Saying ‘’Yes!’’ To New Experiences – Movie dates with unfamiliar companions, spur-of-the-moment brunch sessions and Christmas parties in unexpected locations - it’s ALL been happening! And while it can occasionally be nerve-wracking to buck the routine and agree to new experiences and company, it’s definitely worthwhile. I met a whole bunch of lovely people this week, got to know some much better and generally felt a lot more excitable, exhilarated and enthusiastic than I have in a while because of it!

x Purchases For Our Soon-To-Be Digs - Last weekend my boyfriend and I went furniture shopping, which resulted in the acquisition of the most beautiful, ridiculously soft mattress (it's like sleeping on CLOUDS!), and two new fluffy rugs. YUM! We move into our new place in approximately two and a half weeks, and to to say that I am ecstatic about that would truly be an understatement: I 100%, undeniably and absolutely, cannot wait!

 x Sweet Freedom – Y-E-S! I've finally finished my year long college studies, and I’m so excited! Although it was mostly enjoyable and always interesting, it’s also really satisfying to know that I can wake up each morning next week at my leisure and think ‘’hmmm, what would I like to do today?!’’

x Other Little Things -  New Moon; browsing through market stalls; Target’s new range of insanely covetable dresses (I want almost every single one of them!); typing away on my laptop in bed in geeky bliss; vegetarian burgers from Burger King (almost sinful, but drool-worthy beyond belief!); watching my boyfriend and puppy asleep together and realising that a) there are probably few cuter sights in the world; and b) that they curl up into identical positions; my best friend; and eagerly anticipating the Dream Theater concert (Saturday night!)!
