Have you ever experienced the insatiable and unshakeable suspicion that life was trying to steer you in a certain direction, seemingly against your will? Perhaps it was a series of unsuccessful job interviews for a particular industry, leading you to consider an alternative career path, or a difficult dating experience to teach you precisely what you were and certainly WEREN'T looking for in a relationship.
All the time, I believe that life is attempting to lovingly grab our hands and guide us towards the exact spot that we need to be, or where our focus should be, through a series of mysterious winks, hints, and, occasionally, if we still haven't cottoned on to a particular idea or vision, not-so-subtle nudges. Sometimes, they have the uncanny ability to camouflage themselves as negative occurrences (for example, the aforementioned unsuccessful job interview!), but ultimately? Things are surreptitiously working out exactly as they should.

What tiny clues has life been hurling at YOU lately, in an attempt to act as a magical catalyst for change? Is it a rental increase, urging you to move from your current location and try something different, such as dwelling in a suburb you've never previously considered or backpacking solo around the world? A string of endless heartbreak caused by a family member, partner or friend, signaling to you that actually, you'd kind of be better off alone, or without the constant hardship? A university acceptance letter, notifying you that you're on the right track? Or an increased sense of happiness when completing a new activity, such as writing, ice-skating or sewing miniature hats for Chihuahuas (!), providing all the necessary evidence that that's what it will take to satisfy your heart?
Listen to what the world is trying to tell you. Inhale it. EMBRACE it! Because while we're often trying to search for all the individual answers to our questions in life, usually, they're right in front of us, or slowly, but surely, making their way towards us.

Great post. This has happened to me a lot lately, especially with the job interviews (forced me to focus on what I really want, who I really am) and in relationships. I also just got out of a long line of bad bosses that although totally scarring, has made me a person that stands up for themselves, no longer a shrinking violet. I'm thankful I learned these lessons at a young age. Thank you universe!

Even though things aren't too bright for me atm, this really couldn't've come a better time. Time to listen to the universe!

I've been feeling really satisfied with my efforts at finishing university. My graduation ceremony is this weekend and everything seems to be working out in that "so meant to be" way. Everything from finishing my uni career with good grades, finding that perfect amazing dress and shoes to wear on the day that make me feel better than I have about myself in a long time.
:)
