Thank Frock It's Friday! ♥

On a Monday! Oh, the sheer madness of it all! 

Firstly, no, It's Friday! is not going to start moonlighting as a regular Monday feature. (Because that would just be silly, right? You know, what with the whole FRIDAY part and all.) No, no, no. My internet connection foolishly and naughtily decided to abandon me over the weekend, resulting in one very overdue post indeed, but on the flip side (because there's ALWAYS a flip side!), it presented me with extra time to revel in precisely what I'm loving this week.. and here it is! :

x Settling In - It's now officially been just over a month since moving into my apartment (and speaking of which, today is the first day of February - FEBRUARY! Already! Incredible!), and the levels of enjoyment that having everything finally set up are supplying me with are almost ludicrously lovely! Perhaps it's the Virgo in me, but I just can't help but relish in the structure of having a special designated spot for all of my bits and pieces, and knowing exactly where everything is! The fact that my digs no longer resemble a miniature cardboard box warehouse is also a bonus, too..

x Attending My First Baby Shower - Pocket-sized clothing! Coo-ing! Cocktails! Fun!

x Contemplating Jewellery-Making -  I am obsessed with the idea of learning how to make jewellery, and enrolling in a part-time weekend course on exactly how to do so! Although my electric guitar has been throwing me what I'm sure are dirty looks and pointed, glare-laden expressions of late (the ones that, if they could be translated into words, would definitely result in ''oh, I see. Forgotten about me, have we? Uh huh. I see EXACTLY how it is!''), I really feel the need to launch myself into a new, exciting, brain-stimulating hobby; something mildly challenging, mind-expanding and creatively satisfying! I'm researching courses left, right, and centre, but if anyone can recommend an excellent jewellery-making course in Sydney, throw me a bone! (Actually, maybe that's not such a good idea. But a number, or an e-mail address? Sensational!)

x The New Issue Of Cleo Magazine -  Magazines and maxi-dresses are two of my favourite things on the planet, so when I spied the latest edition of Cleo, complete with one VERY swanky maxi-dress attached to the back of it, I was thrilled to bits! It's surprisingly lovely, but best of all? It was free! FREE! Oh, I love myself a bargain..

x Other Little Things - Flickering candlelight; finding old treasures (aha! So there is a reward in cleaning up after all!); having my boyfriend's sister stay with us; late night alcohol missions and beach escapades (with the aforementioned lovely sister!); discovering the PERFECT bag (black leather, chains and one huge, diamante`-encrusted skull on the front of it - it is exactly what I've always been looking for, but have never been able to find!); spur-of-the-moment decisions; bumping into friends in unexpected locations; burning incense; rifling through old photo albums; adding new images to my inspiration/visualiation board; writing, writing, writing; fresh limes; printing bunches of photos and sticking them all over my house; and butterflies adorning the garden on a beautiful, sparkling summer's day.
